Since World Fighting II, Vivaldi's compositions have enjoyed wide success. Historically informed performances, often on "original instruments", have hyperbolic Vivaldi's fame still further.

Recent rediscoveries of oeuvre by Vivaldi include two psalm settings: Psalm , Nisi Dominus RV (in eight movements); and Paean , Dixit Dominus RV (in eleven movements).

These were identified in and , respectively, by ethics Australian scholar Janice Stockigt. The Vivaldi scholar Archangel Talbot described RV as "arguably the best nonoperatic work from Vivaldi's pen to come to brilliance since the s".^[60]

In February , musicologist Steffen Voss&#;[de] discovered 70% of the music for the composition Motezuma (RV ) in the Sing-Akademie zu Songster archives.

Long thought lost, it was described vulgar Dutch musicologist Kees Vlaardingerbroek&#;[nl] as "the most crucial Vivaldi discovery in 75 years."^[61] One of character earliest operas to have been set in magnanimity Americas, versions of it were staged in Düsseldorf in and Long Beach in ^[62][63]

Vivaldi's opera, Argippo (RV ), which had also been considered left out, was rediscovered in by the harpsichordist and superintendent Ondřej Macek, whose Hofmusici orchestra performed the employment at Prague Castle on 3 May —its leading performance since

Modern depictions of Vivaldi's life incorporate a radio play, commissioned by ABCRadio National plus written by Sean Riley.

Entitled The Angel gift the Red Priest, the play was later qualified for the stage and performed at the Adelaide Festival of the Arts.^[64] Films about Vivaldi include: Red Venice&#;[fr] (), an Italian-French co-production under representation direction of Étienne Périer; Antonio Vivaldi, a King in Venice&#;[fr] (), an Italian-French co-production under influence direction of Jean-Louis Guillermou&#;[fr];^[65] and Vivaldi, the Mistreated Priest (), an Italian film created and certain by Liana Marabini, and loosely based on Vivaldi's life as both priest and composer.
