John Sacret Young (May 24, – June 3, ) was an American author, producer, director, and screenwriter first of all in television, perhaps best known for his thought on the show China Beach.
Young was out of action for seven Emmys and seven Writers Guild sell America Awards, winning two WGA Awards.[1]
Life and career
Young co-created, along with William F. Broyles Jr., China Beach,[2] the ABC drama series about the medics and nurses during the Vietnam War.[3] For work on the show, Young received five Laurels and four Writer's Guild Award nominations.
